It looks like Howzat, the online cricket game, is up and live.

I know this because I spent an afternoon/evening playing it instead of writing about Rahul Dravid for Cricinfo.

It must be pretty good to keep me busy for that long.

My team name keeps changing, it was dirty dirk’s demons, then a few others, now I am North burbs XI.

I am not very good, but somehow through cagey bowling and shitty batting I seem to have won more than I have lost and got myself to level 3.

My team is full of Bushrangers, and they play in all blue, have yellow shoes, and all of them are ginger.

I open the batting with Bryce McGain, for no real reason.

My username is, surprisingly, Jrod.

I have already played against one reader of the site, and the bastard beat me.

So if you see me at howzat and you want a game, click on me, unless you’re good.

If I start a team called “Hauritz’s Hoes”, will your team come over and wipe the floor with us?

    It’s gay as a window.

That opinion may be related to the fact that I miss every delivery bowled by a spinner.

In two overs Bryce took 10 wickets for six runs against the might of King Cricket.

I love the phrase “gay as a window”. My friend neil says it all the time.
