My time in Scotland is nearly over. I like it, you should come.

Before i had been to edinburgh I was under the impression that Scotland had no interest in cricket.

This doesn’t seem the case at all.

While i was going around round Scotland I saw plenty of cricket grounds, still with ropes up to protect the square.

Cricket was mentioned by one of my tour guides.

In two separate museums there were pictures of cricket and in one there was cricket gear.

In a art shop there was five pictures of cricket, including ones of  ranjit and wg grace.

Plus this:

"keep walking", not to be confused with the phrase, why don't you walk you cheating cunt.

Then I walked into a pub called jenny ha’s today and fuck  me dead if they didn’t have south Africa bs Zimbabwe playing an odi on
the telly.

And guys were watching it.

One guy even agreed with the obvious plumb decision of Petersen to Price, “That is a good decision, son. Off ya go.”

These weren’t tourists, these were proper scots who kept saying wee and aye.

Later on they were disgusted with JP Duminy’s switch hit. One guy even tried to replicate it, and almost killed himself.

Cricket in Scotland is not the wasteland i thought it was.

Sounds trouble for the Poms, if the Scottish take their cricket seriously then who will they get their playing eleven from? Ah well, they’r good to go until the Proteas are playing for them.
