Over the next few days, up until the Oval test, Cricket With Balls will be Cricket With Balls lite.

By the time the test comes around I will be back at full productivity, but for the days preceeding it we will be quieter than usual.

It isn’t because I love you any less, I promise.

Here is the cricket news from the last few days:

England select another South African.

Brett Lee proves his earnestness, but he is a sightseer on this trip.

Some answer to a quiz question, Charles Coventry, scored 194* for Zimbabwe in a one day match. The useless fuckers still lost.

Dravid is back in the Indian one day team, Kris Srikkanth is not.

Dilshan is set to open for Sri Lanka in tests, I will buy him 2 slabs if he dilscoops in the first over.

I take it you’ve changed your tone on marriage?

My theory on night watchman is similar to my theory on marriage, once upon a time it may have made sense, but the world has now evolved.

It’s not as if this will be his only marriage.

Either way, congrats to you both. Hope the day goes well and you make it back to the UK after the bucks in time for the 5th Test. Or at the very least they have cable in Laos.

Moses, I think he wrote that piece before meeting his future wife, upon which everything changed.

Maybe there’s a nightwatchman out there for all of us.
