If Clark is there, he can pretend 1) he's not top dog bowler in the team, 2) that no-one expects him to win/lose the Ashes and that will make him bowl better. With Hauritz chosen over Clark, MJ knows 1 and 2 are true regardless of how Ritzy bowls. And he quakes inside and out. No Oz fan wants that as it's not big and it's certainly not pretty. Anything that makes MJ less anxious is a winner. If Clark is there, he can pretend
