England try hard, but lack real fire power. Jimmy and Freddie seem to carry the attack and neither are big wicket takers, the wicket of Ponting was lucky, but who cares.

Australia go along well before Anderson takes a couple and Ricky drags one on.

Montybot: dull and lucky

Broad: average

Swann: rubbish, Montybot brought on twice before him

Anderson: good enough, but not great

Freddie: steady not destructive

Katich: batted well got beaten by a peach

Ponting: smooth as silk baby, the ugly as fuck as he drags on a shit one.

Hussey: back to form

Clarke: great timing, not great placement

England go into the session of death with the best two bowlers tired, but three wickets in a session.

Australia need one more partnership, get 100/150 in front, and they hope England have a 51 or Adelaide style panic attack and they win a game they were never supposed to.

Hussey’s out of form, unless you consider his failures normal form.

Abigail, the second part of your sentence is correct. He had a form blip in worcestor, now he is back to usual. He hasn’t made consistent runs in 18 months.
