I know that India’s first defeat against West Indies does not only shocked the fans but also but also put India team in the brink of elimination. Now, they will face England team in a “do or die” T20 match. It is the time to see how they make their come back in the competition.

its both. he picks and chooses when he should be selfish or irresponsible.

Well I do agree this match we lost due to Dhoni (although some of the other players contributed as well).

But it is extremely frustrating that Dhoni always comes to bat at number 3 when the going is good or when the winning runs are there to be hit. Also he seems to have totally lost his batting form since the start of IPL. He cant time the ball and cant even play for a single or rotate the strike.

he comes in at 3 if a wicket falls after 6 overs, he comes in later otherwise..

Thats a point worth pondering, Jrod. This is exactly what Dhoni has been doing. He comes in when the going is good, and sends out others when batting is tough out there. Either way its a win-win situation for him. If he gets runs by coming in early, he is the hero, and if he doesnt get runs when he comes in late, the damage has probably been done already, and he is not responsible for it. The top order would be. And he can play his plodding game and look to ‘consolidate’.

Dhoni played in the match as if were a 50 over game. There was no intent on his part to actually up the score. Letting the spinners bowl their over at less than a run a ball was a crime. Especially after Bravo showing how to whack a spinner.
