No it isn’t just the fact that Stuart Clark turned out to be a better McGrathlite.

It is this: MP Vaughan c wicketkeeperDavies b Noffke 5

Talk about sabotaging one of Australia’s main plans in this years ashes.

How will we get Vaughan into the side now.

Crap. I wake up this morning to find a double blow to our ashes campaign. Firstly old man Vaughan has been left out of their current Test squad. Shit. I then turn on the tele to see Brett Lee, the man with no speed, no bounce, no swing, no fucken nothing has been allowed to waltz back into the one day squad and is talking up his ashes chances as though he’s our only hope. Surely Lee has incriminating photos of someone in the CA heirachy.

Just about anyone could have made runs at Headingley yesterday. Well almost anyone

Binglee obviously gives good head. Seriously, it’s the only explanation.

The only bowlers that are definite to start the first Ashes test are Johnson and Siddle so they might as well have a look at Bing.

    And Stewie ‘Rupert’ Clark.

Hilfy has got to be in with a big shot as well.

Pete, I just don’t understand some of the noises he’s making. The bloke is only making a goose of himself claiming he’ll be back to his prime in time for the ashes. The only weapon he had was pace and it’s long, long gone. He’s clutching at straws talking himself up.

There’s plenty of bowlers that could make the team, definitely Hilfy. And I guess Rupert is close to a certainty. But why not have a look at Lee. He may squeeze into the squad but I reckon he’d only make the team (and even then it’s a maybe) if they decided to go with 4 quicks. But what do I know?

I guess they could go with four quicks, given that the spin option appears just about non existant.

They’ll take Horrie as an offie for the one day stuff so it looks as if Mcgain will be left out.
